Unfortunatly Sidfest 2006 has had to be canceled due to there being too much to do in too little time. We may be able to arrange something for July however this cannot be confirmed as of yet.

We wish you all a great summer and keep checking back as there may be some updates to come :-)

The future of Sidfest is beginning to look very unclear. The unthinkable possibility of Sidfest 06 has now unfortunatly become a reality. It is now very unclear as to certainty of Sidfest 06 happening at the end of June if at all this year. We may be able to squeeze Sidfest in at the end of May or early June and will certainly try our best to ensure that the event does happen.

It is time we found a new venue, for next year and possibly this year. If you know of anyone who would be willing to host Sidfet 06 or future events please contact us at ihaveavenue@sidfest.co.uk. Obviously a large venue is needed to hold boht the staging and campers, and ideally not anywhere that will annoy local public.

An indoor event is currently under disscussion.

The search is again underway for acts for this years Sidfest. The time slots will be changed around some what so there is less of a rush for all acts concerned. If your interested in playing please email us at iwanttoplay@sidfest.co.uk or leave your details in the forum.

Act spots are going to be limited this year with the emphasis of quality rather than quantity although you will hopefully see the return of Sidfest veterens Spontaneous Decay, DJ Phatboy Thin, The Skullman and Internationally renowned DJ Righteous Mark.

Act names will appear here as they are confirmed so keep checking back.
